Allisyn and Dylan Snyder are professional actors, educators, and proud alumni of the Disney Channel. With years of experience in front of and behind the camera, they’ve worked with top-tier coaches, directors, and producers since early childhood.
Stacked Apples derives its name from the duo being so young and tiny when they first entered the industry, that they had to stand on apple boxes for most scenes. Now, they're stacking their combined 50+ years of experience to give inspired hopefuls the tools and resources they need to be professional actors.
A Los Angeles native, Allisyn Snyder launched her career in the entertainment industry at 4 years old (as Allisyn Ashley Arm). She worked steadily throughout childhood, with TV appearances including Friends, Strong Medicine, Judging Amy, and Body of Proof.
At the age of 11, she became a series regular on Disney’s Sonny With A Chance, followed by its spin-off, So Random!—a children's live-audience sketch comedy show that utilized her large catalog of character voices and physical comedy skills.
Allisyn is currently known for her work as Heather in all four seasons of NBC's A.P. Bio, with Decider saying, "Allisyn Ashley Arm Is TV's Greatest Scene Stealer... (her) 'words said to laughs earned' ratio is absurd. A.P. Bio has the best young cast on TV, but no character on this or any other series produces more humor with fewer lines than Jack's devious, peculiar protégé Heather.”
After graduating at age 15, Allisyn set her foundation with cinematography studies at Glendale CC. At 17, she began writing and starring in sketches for AwesomenessTV, with several airing on Nickelodeon. In 2016, she began producing short films alongside Dylan Snyder. Her feature-length directorial debut, horror film Howdy, Neighbor!, had its Los Angeles premiere at the historic TCL Chinese Theatre as a part of Screamfest 2023.
Dylan Snyder has grown up a multifaceted artist, playing Young Tarzan in the Broadway musical Tarzan, before entering the world of film and television, with his most notable roles being Milton from Disney XD's hit martial arts show Kickin' It!, and Todd Solondz' critically acclaimed drama, Life During Wartime.
His passion for photography led him to pursue goals behind the camera. Now an award-winning director and cinematographer, he’s worked with esteemed actors such as Debby Ryan (Jessie, Insatiable), Katie Sarife (Annabelle Comes Home), and Eric Nelsen (1883, A Walk Amongst the Tombstones).
Snyder has given talks to schools and communities across the country, recounting his start as a small-town Bama boy who built his foundation in community theater.
Snyder taught acting classes for a decade with AGB Studios, alongside David DeLuise, Anneliese van der Pol, and Jennifer Stone, with an acting curriculum focused on auditioning, scene study, improv, and television. Through AGB, Snyder also organized multiple 6-week courses where students learned first-hand how a single-camera film set operates by starring in a short film produced by Stacked Apples.
